Nobody sees your public post until a person has read it.

People bring real fear to a prayer request. Debt they have told no one about, a marriage under strain, a job that just ended. A feed that publishes first and moderates later is the wrong shape for that, so ours does not.

How A Public Post Travels

A plain filter runs first

Links, promotional phrases, slurs, and explicit language are removed on the spot by a fixed word list, before anything else looks at the post. No judgment call, no model, no waiting.

An AI classifier sorts what is left

It can remove clear spam and abuse, or pass a post along. What it cannot do is publish. If the classifier fails or times out, the post is held rather than let through, because the safe failure is a slow post, not an unreviewed one.

A person reads it

Every public prayer request and testimony waits in a review queue until a human opens it. Not a sample, not the flagged ones, all of them. Until that happens the post is visible to its author and to nobody else, and the author can see that it is still waiting.

Only then is it public

The prayer wall, the homepage, the dashboard feed, and public prayer all read from the same approved-only list. There is no path that puts an unreviewed post in front of another member.

Prayer Circles Work Differently

A circle post goes straight to that circle

Prayer shared with a circle you belong to is not held for review first. It reaches the people you chose, immediately, the way a text to a small group would. That is the point of a circle, and it is worth knowing that it is not the same guarantee the public wall gives you.

A circle is a bounded group, not a sealed room

The people in it can read what you write, and nothing stops a person from repeating it elsewhere. Encouragement from a circle is real. Professional confidentiality is not something an app can give you.

Reporting works inside circles too

Any member can report a post in a circle they belong to, and only in a circle they belong to.

If Something Gets Through

Reporting hides it immediately

The moment a member reports a post, it is pulled from every feed and put back in the review queue. It does not stay up while we look at it. One member is enough, no threshold to reach.

Five reasons, including one for stolen accounts

Spam, harmful, inappropriate, other, and "this is not the person whose account it is." That last one is treated as a possible account takeover and goes to the account, not just the post.

You cannot report yourself out of view

Self-reports are rejected, repeat reports on the same post collapse into one, and reports on circle posts require membership in that circle.

If We Get It Wrong

You can see what happened to your own post

Your held or removed posts stay visible to you, labeled with their status, rather than quietly vanishing and leaving you to wonder.

You can appeal a removal

Any post of yours that was removed or held can be disputed, and the appeal goes to a person, not back to the filter that removed it.

Filters are blunt on purpose

The automatic word list only catches terms with no innocent use, so honest words that appear in real testimony are left for a human to weigh. We would rather hold a good post for an hour than remove it by accident.

What To Keep Out Of A Post

Numbers and institutions

Ask for prayer over the debt without naming the balance, the bank, or the account. Your financial records live in your own dashboard and are never attached to anything you share.

Anything that locates you

Employer, street, church name, school, daily routine. A prayer request is not the place, and the people who abuse this kind of detail read prayer requests too.

Details that belong to someone else

A spouse, a child, a friend in crisis, an abusive situation. Their circumstances are theirs to share, and once written down it is out of your hands.

Anything you need kept confidential

If it would be damaging for this to travel, bring it to a pastor, a counselor, or a lawyer instead. We are asking you to be careful because we cannot make that guarantee for you.

What We Do Not Have Yet

No way to block an individual member

You can report a post. You cannot yet mute or block a person so you stop seeing them entirely. This is the gap we are least comfortable with and the next one we intend to close.

No published review times

Posts are read quickly today, but we have not committed to a number, and we will not publish one we cannot hold.

No review around the clock

The queue is worked through the day, not every hour of the night. A prayer posted at three in the morning may wait until morning to go live.

Appeals stay in-house

There is no outside body to escalate to. An appeal goes back to our moderation team, which means we are both the referee and the party you are appealing against. Weigh our answer accordingly.
